Job Description: Supplier Quality Technician
L3Harris is a world leader in the development and production of advanced night vision and electro-optical systems and components, supporting all branches of the United States Military, law enforcement, first responder agencies, allied nations, and consumers. Our Londonderry, New Hampshire location is seeking a Supplier Quality Technician.
In this role, the Supplier Quality Technician (SQT) actively support our Supplier Quality Engineering and Receiving Inspection teams. Support includes but is not limited to:
- Working with incoming inspection, suppliers, engineering and purchasing to ensure a continuous supply of quality material is available to manufacturing to meet production demands.
- Support manufacturing on the timely disposition of material quality issues by investigating, analyzing and resolving material issues when identified.
- Support Supplier Quality Engineering (SQE) with Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCAR’s) :
- Help validate the Root Cause and Preventative/Corrective Action effectiveness and ensure the SCAR’s are closed on time.
- Support the development of receiving inspection plans and methods for inspection of incoming material.
- Responsible for ensuing MRB, RTI and RMA resolution is timely and effective
- Support SQE on risk mitigation, continuous improvement, data collection and reporting.
Qualifications
- Previous Supplier Quality, Manufacturing and/or Engineering Technician experience
- High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Skills
- Associate’s degree in a technical discipline preferred
- ASQ certifications a plus
- Use and understanding of basic statistics a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Experience with Excel and Mini-Tab
