L3Harris' Communication Systems segment is currently seeking a Program Control Analyst to join our team. This position will be based at our Carlsbad, CA facility.
Position Overview:
L3Harris is seeking a new team member to support program control activities within its Government Services division. This role will report to the Program Control Manager.
As a Program Control Analyst, you will play a critical role by supporting the planning, tracking, analysis and reporting of various types of programs. You will collaborate with the program team to build, maintain and status program schedules in MS Project.
Essential Responsibilities:
Responsible for establishing and maintaining the Cost Baseline and Estimates at Complete.
Analyze schedule impacts, perform "what if" scenarios and help to develop recovery plans utilizing Critical Path methodologies and other metrics.
Utilize your knowledge of Earned Value Management to provide performance information to the program team.
Work across our dynamic Program Control team, you will interface daily with Program Managers, finance personnel, functional groups and engineering staff in a team environment specifically crafted to achieve program and professional success.
Oversees both the program finance and scheduling aspects of program support. We understand that this responsibility is typically segregated to either supporting the schedule or the program finance requirements. For this position, we are looking for someone who has strong scheduling or program finance skills and is willing to learn the other part of the job responsibilities.
MS Project scheduling experience in a high tech engineering environment
Must be proficient in MS PowerPoint, Advanced Excel skills working knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM)
Proven track record of team leadership, problem solving, performance analysis, utilizing program management techniques and achieving the goals of the program and business area
Excellent teamwork and organizational skills
Up to 10% travel.
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/ Associates Degree and a minimum of 8 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or technical field desired
Oracle experience
Government contract experience a plus
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $66,000- $123,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
