Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated team member to support our Aquatics Director at our YMCA-Houser branch in Onalaska, WI. This position’s time will be split between administrative work supporting the overall Aquatics Department and lifeguard/swim lessons. This is a part-time hourly position.
Responsibilities:

Assist in overseeing the safety of all aquatics programming

Assist in the scheduling of pool space for all pool-related activities

Assist in scheduling and supervision of lifeguard staff

Assist in recruitment and onboarding of all new employees
- Lifeguard or teach swim lessons when needed
Requirements
Qualifications:
-
One or more years of experience in aquatics, recreation, fitness, or a related field
- Supervisory experience preferred
Specialized Knowledge, Skills & Certifications:
-
Professional CPR/AED and First Aid Certification
-
YMCA or Red Cross Lifeguard Certification
- YMCA Swim Lesson Instructor preferred
