What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Payable Clerk position at LA Inc?
We are looking for a skilled Accounts Payable Coordinator to join our company located in South Brunswick, New Jersey. The Accounts Payable Coordinator will be responsible for processing all invoices received for payment and for undertaking the payment of all creditors in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner.
Responsibilities:
- Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts receivables data
- Reconcile vendor statements, handle disputes, credit application issues
- Process payments to vendors
- Monitoring AP Helpdesk email inbox and directing invoices to appropriate managers/departments
- General filing and indexing of office paperwork
Requirements:
- Proven working experience as accounts payable clerk
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounts payable principles
- Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records
- Data entry skills
- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software
- Proficiency in English and in MS Office
- Customer service orientation and negotiation skills
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
