District Primary Purpose : To coordinate and enhance the district's community engagement efforts, facilitating meaningful collaborations and communications with community members and organizations to support and advance the district’s educational objectives and community relations.

This role is essential in supporting the district’s educational objectives and enhancing community relations.
Education / Certification :
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Communications, Education, or related field;
- Master’s degree preferred.
- 3-5 years’ experience in community outreach, public relations, or similar roles, with a proven track record of developing and implementing engagement strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to manage community events, workshops, and meetings effectively, ensuring they meet their objectives.
- Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with community members, local organizations, stakeholders, and partners to foster collaboration and support.
- Skilled in the use of social media and digital communication tools to engage the community and promote events.
- Experience in volunteer recruitment and management to support community programs and events.
- Proficient in gathering and analyzing community feedback to assess the impact of programs and identify areas for improvement.
Major Responsibilities and Duties :
- Developing and implementing strategies to increase community engagement and participation in district programs and events.
- Coordinating and managing community events, workshops, and meetings to ensure they are successful and meet their objectives.
- Building and maintaining relationships with community members, local organizations, stakeholders, and partners to enhance collaboration and support.
- Creating and distributing promotional materials to effectively market events and programs to the community.
- Gathering and analyzing feedback from community activities to improve future engagement efforts.
- Managing social media platforms to engage the community, share information, and promote events.
- Developing strategies for volunteer recruitment and retention to support community programs.
- Securing funding through sponsorships, grants, and other opportunities to support community engagement initiatives.
Supervisory Responsibilities :
This position does not directly supervise staff but may coordinate with various school personnel and community volunteers to implement engagement activities effectively.

Typically includes a mix of office work and field assignments. Frequent local travel to community and school sites is required, and the position may require evening or weekend commitments for events and meetings.
Work Environment :
The work environment is highly interactive, involving constant communication with school staff, community members, and various stakeholders.
Office settings are standard, but considerable time is also spent in community locations, adapting to various indoor and outdoor settings based on event requirements.
