LMRV is currently hiring for a Warranty Administrator for our growing team. The ideal candidate has excellent organizational and customer service skills, strong computer skills and can work independently.
SUMMARY: Assist with warranty processing, warranty paperwork and collection of payments from manufacturers.
Qualifications
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Process all warranty paperwork and supporting documentation for Warranty claims to ensure documentation on a timely basis for each distributer
- Manage submitted claims for collection. Ensure all required fields are entered and comments are maintained as the claim progresses to collection.
- Coordinate with Warranty Clerk and Warranty Assistant to maximize collection effort.
- Assist with warranty pictures, and collection of information required for claim pre-authorization
- Report Warranty Claim problems directly to Service and Warranty Managers keeping them informed and updated on the status of problem claims or any issues.
- Ensure your store understands the process for submitting a Warranty claim and steps to complete them, provide training to personnel as needed.
- Reconcile all warranty receivables with payments and credits on appropriate accounting schedule.
- Resubmit all rejected claims promptly or receive authorization to write them off.
- Follow up on payment of outstanding claims and respond to manufacturer claim feedback requests.
- Arrange for parts to be shipped to Manufacturer or distributor, held for inspection or to be scrapped.
- File and maintain all service records.
- Keep informed of factory recalls and service bulletins.
- Do not allow warranty claims to age and become uncollectable.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Pre-employment screenings including background and drug test
- 1 year of Warranty Claim experience; preferred not required
- 2 years of Administrative experience
- RV knowledge is preferred, not required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Strong ability to multi task and be flexible
