La Quinta Inns & Suites is looking for a Housekeeper to provide guests with a pleasant stay by offering clean and safe rooms. You will work on a team with other friendly customer focused team members completing daily duties such as vacuuming, changing linens and making our bathrooms shine. You will be responsible for all aspects of guest stay, including ensuring the hotel is fully staffed, welcoming guests, and managing guest requests.

The ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge of our hotel services and hospitality best practices. You will be able to exercise good judgment in making decisions that affect guests’ experience both during and after stays. We want to be a welcoming, friendly, and helpful destination for our guests as they arrive at the hotel or visit our offices.

Responsibilities

• Cleans the daily required number of rooms
• Takes care of all uniforms, equipment and supplies issued by the manager or supervisor on duty
• Communicates with the Housekeeping Department on the status of all cleaned rooms
• Vacuuming and sweeping
• Dusting and polishing furniture
• Clean mirrors, sinks, showers/tubs, toilets, tables, nightstands, dressers, light fixtures, televisions, air condition units, window ledges in all assigned rooms
• Report repairs or unsafe conditions to management
• Ensure guest rooms are properly striped of bed linens, towels, garbage, and debris in a timely manner
• Other duties assigned

Requirements

• Proven experience as a housekeeper, laundry attendant, or similar role

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
