What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hotel Housekeeper position at La Quinta Stillwater?
We are seeking a dedicated Hotel Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in custodial services, hotel housekeeping, and floor care. This role involves maintaining a clean and orderly environment for hotel guests.
DAYS NEEDED ARE THURSDAY, FRIDAY, SATURDAY, SUNDAY AND MONDAY. OFF TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY. MUST BE AVAILABLE TO START AT 9AM AND MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK UNTIL 5PM.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and tidy all areas of the hotel including guest rooms, common areas, and restrooms
- Change bed linens, replace towels, and restock amenities
- Vacuum, sweep, mop floors, and perform deep cleaning tasks as needed
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is maintained and stored properly
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department
- Collaborate with the housekeeping team to provide excellent service to guests
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in industrial cleaning or hospitality industry
- Knowledge of housekeeping management practices
- Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require bending, kneeling, and walking for extended periods
