How will you be rewarded!
Working in Madison, WI our Animal Technicians:
- Pay rate: $18.00 per hour (plus 5% shift differential)
- Work a rotating 1st shift including weekends, some holidays and some overtime. (Working hours 6:30 am-3:15 pm)
- Enjoy 24 days of personal-time-off (PTO) (pro-rated depending on start date)

What will you be doing:
This entry level role requires no experience, just an interest in working with small and large animals in a laboratory setting.
- Maintaining the highest standards of animal care and welfare in accordance with the Association for Assessment and Accreditation of Laboratory Animal Care International (AAALAC)
- Performing daily cleaning, feeding of our laboratory animals
- Providing environmental and dietary enrichment
- Learning and applying proper handling and restraint techniques.
- Working in a fast paced, team environment
Experience:
- No experience required.
- Must be 18 years or older.
