Labcorp is seeking a Director, Labor Relations & HR Partnering. At Labcorp, you will have the opportunity to be a part of a growing team and a growing organization. This position will act as a strategic Human Resources business partner working with senior regional leaders and will provide direct support for labor relations for the western regions. Labor Relations support will facilitate satisfactory labor-management relations, interprets collective bargaining agreements and strategic labor relations plans with senior business leaders. As an HRBP you will be a trusted thought partner to business leaders, providing guidance, coaching, and HR strategies that deliver on business objectives.
Areas of focus will include Labor Relations, Talent Management, M&A, Diversity and Inclusion, Succession Planning, Change Management, Leadership Development, Workforce Planning, Organizational Development, Employee Engagement
Requirements
- BS/BA in Human Resources Management, Organizational Development, Industrial Psychology, Business Administration or equivalent experience
- PHR/SPHR certification/ advanced degree a plus
Experience
- 5 to 7 years' human resources experience in a fast-paced global environment, including labor relations, experience in Talent Management and Succession Planning, Manager and Employee development, Performance Management, Change Management Processes, Communication Processes, Compensation and Wage Structure, Supporting Diversity, Employment Law
- Experience coaching and working with Senior Leaders
- Strong communications skills, including interpersonal and analytical problem-solving skills and a high degree of emotional intelligence
- Independent decision making ability
- Must have demonstrated strong computer skills in PowerPoint, Word and Excel
- Ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization
- Excellent writing, editing, analytic, presentation, organizational and time management skills required
- Must have demonstrated leadership skills, which includes the ability to effectively influence at all levels within the company
Minimum of 3-5 years of Labor Relations experience and Human Resources Business Partner experience.
Remote based in Pacific or Mountain Time Zone.
Pay Range: $132,000 - $170,000
