Job Overview:
Labcorp Drug Development is seeking a Manager of Product Marketing for our Clinical Development and Commercialization Services (CDCS) business. This individual will help design and drive marketing initiatives to support business success for Labcorp Drug Development's >$3 billion CDCS business with primary focus on pharmaceutical and biotech companies. This role will report directly to the head of CDCS marketing and work closely with leaders in sales, marketing and the service lines they support.
Key responsibilities include leading and/or supporting marketing strategy for:
- Functional Service Provider services and capabilities
- Account based marketing
- Communications for customer facing colleagues
- Sales colleague engagement
Specifically, the Marketing Manager will:
- Launch and manage highly targeted marketing campaigns that drive interest and preference for Labcorp Drug Development and focus on sales enablement and lead generation.
- Help conceive strategic content that can be deployed via omnichannel marketing (e.g., webinars, social media, paid search, podcasts, etc.) to showcase our thought leadership and create differentiation.
- Execute events strategy and collaborate with sales, SMEs and events team on high-quality execution (industry conferences, symposia, webinars).
- Develop and maintain marketing content and collateral that support service offerings and targeted service lines.
- Collaborate across organizational structures and other business units, including peer marketers in supporting pre-clinical, early clinical and later stage clinical marketing activities.
- Measure impact of all marketing initiatives through tracking mechanisms, metrics and dashboard reporting to measure success of target marketing activities including detailed recommendations on improvements and best practices for future programs.
- Perform other marketing and sales support functions, as needed.
Education/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Science, or Business preferred
- Master's degree a strong plus
Experience:
- 5 or more years’ prior work experience in marketing, B2B marketing experience is highly desirable.
- Specific expertise in marketing life science services highly desirable.
- Experience in digital marketing / social media.
- Excellent customer service skills, attention to detail and ability to be persistent while maintaining tact
- Demonstrated ability to plan, multi-task and prioritize
- Demonstrated teamwork, communication (written and verbal), and organizational skills
- Ability to work to deadlines and problem-solve
- Strong analytical, time management and interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate appropriately and effectively with Labcorp Drug Development senior management
