Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Phlebotomist to join our team at Labcorp. As a Phlebotomist, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the accuracy of laboratory results.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect blood specimens from patients using venipuncture and capillary techniques
- Process and prepare specimens for testing and analysis
- Enter patient information and specimen data into our system with accuracy and efficiency
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and colleagues
- Perform administrative tasks as needed, including data entry and billing
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Phlebotomy certification or completion of a training program from an accredited agency
- 1-2 years of phlebotomy experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
