RESPONSIBILITIES
- Hiring, coaching, scheduling/delegating work, conducting performance reviews for a team of Payroll tax professionals
- Serve as technical expert for Payroll issues through a deep understanding of Payroll and Tax regulations
- Manage the day-to-day operations of complex Payroll tax operations
- Assist in the resolution of highly complex and escalated Payroll issues
- Ensure timely and accurate Payroll tax remits, post processing activities related to the overall Payroll process
- Ensure internal Payroll procedures are compliant, efficient and current; develop and implement processes reflecting best practices and continuous improvement
- Manage existing and new legislation, communicating to leadership
- Manage system updates impacting tax regulations and/or processing
- Serve as the leader liaison for Payroll tax between Payroll operations, HRIM, HR and Finance functional teams
- Work with HRIM and/or vendors on business requirements
- Maintain a high level of accountability for audit standards
- Balancing weekly, quarterly and annual tax jurisdictions and filings
- Facilitate quarter and year-end tax close
- Auditing Payroll processing results
- Balancing W-2's / W-2Cs
- Systems implementation, acquisition, and project experience
- Develop measurable standards/metrics to measure accuracy
- Projects and tasks, as required

REQUIREMENTS
- 5 Years proven Payroll experience in a multi-state Payroll environment
- Workday Payroll tax or processing experience
- Workday Report familiarity
- Analytical skills / Problem solving skills
- Advanced Excel skills
- Attention to detail
- Systems experience, preferably Workday and ADP SmartCompliance
- Good time management and prioritization skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS
- 4 Year Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- Payroll CPP is desirable but not required
Pay Range: $77,002 - $125,500
Benefits: All job offers will be based on a candidate's skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data. Regular, full-time or part-time employees working 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(K), ESPP, Paid time off (PTO) or Flexible time off (FTO), Commissions, and Company bonus where applicable.
