What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sr. Project Analyst position at Labcorp?
Labcorp is recruiting a Sr. Project Analyst for a dynamic team in the Burlington, NC area.
This position will be responsible for all project management tasks associated with the development, certification, and the implementation of interfaces between Labcorp and our Client's EMR/EHR, HIS, LIS software to support electronic lab orders and results.
Specific Responsibilities include:
Provide project management support for all aspects of EDI New Development & Certification Interface and beta implementations
Successful interaction/communication with Labcorp external and internal clients
Successful interaction/communication with software vendors engaged in development as well as implementation
Manage, prioritize, projection of risk to established timeline(s) and escalate as needed all tasks associated with interface projects
Ability to hold stakeholders accountable, continuous timeline review
Basic and foundational technical understanding of New Development and Specifications
Hosting of strategic and professional meetings over the phone using WebEx software
Maintain effective project documentation, very detail orientated
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements:
Minimum 2-3 years of work experience managing EMR software implementations
Bachelor's degree normally required.
Understanding of New Development methodologies, Agile
Experience installing and configuring computer software
Thorough understanding and good working knowledge of MS Office – Outlook, Word, Excel, and OneNote
Great oral and written communications - facilitate conference calls/meetings with primary communication by phone or emails, remote installs and troubleshooting, process documentation and improvement, client issue resolution
Ability to collaborate with clients and vendors with varying technical and communication skills, to foster and promote good customer relations, to facilitate projects, conference calls, and meetings
Active and positive in team setting, as well as individual independence
Innovative with process improvement and development skills background helpful
Ability to work in a fast-paced, open ended team environment, flexibility, adaptability, problem solving, and results focused
Background in Healthcare, HL7 specs, and/or experience in Healthcare Industries and their workflows would be helpful
Client-focused, able to anticipate client needs and offer solutions, able to develop short term problem circumvention if needed, able to troubleshoot problems.
