Laborie Medical Technologies is currently searching for a Clinical Educator to join our team remotely.
Position Overview:
The Clinical Educator will ensure that customers who purchase equipment from Laborie will use it as suggested and to their satisfaction, while also offering educational guidance to optimize customer usage of diagnostics and products. They will install basic equipment for optimal function. This individual will also partner with the sales team to identify goals and opportunities for training, education, and business development.
How you contribute:
- To train and educate on newly purchased Urodynamic capital equipment.
- Support installation of select models of Urodynamic equipment
- To assist with proactive targeting of accounts.
- To educate end users of the equipment according to ICS and Laborie standards.
- To ensure existing customers are comfortable using their equipment and provide additional training as requested, and proactively support customer training needs.
- To support Laborie sales and service departments.
- To promote sale of disposable and durable products, and extended warranties while onsite.
- To accurately complete all documentation regarding site visits and customer interaction in a timely manner.
- To keep up to date with accepted standards for procedures performed using Laborie equipment.
Qualifications:
- Clinical expertise in urodynamics and preferably also pelvic floor therapy ideal
- Would prefer experience with OAB navigation and third line therapies
- Licensure as a nurse is encouraged
- Clinical education experience in the hospital, clinic, or medical device setting preferred
- 2 years’ experience in medical technology company, delivering clinical customer facing material a plus
- Must be able to work successfully in a highly energized environment with multiple projects.
- Must be able to quickly re-evaluate and prioritize needs based on changing healthcare landscape.
- Technical aptitude and basic to advanced computer skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to support trade shows and conferences as needed.
- Able to travel 50-70% in a designated region
- Valid US Driver’s License and ownership of insured vehicle
