Fast Growing local CPA firm (South Bay) seeks a Controller (130-175k)
Monthly Financial Statements
Client collections
Work directly with Partners
Very detail oriented
Possess excellent communications skills
Prefer background from a service company (CPA firm, Law firm, engineering, etc.), but will look at other backgrounds as well.
Degree in accounting
CPA preferred but not mandatory.
- Report directly to the partner group
- Design and implement internal controls to enhance operational efficiency
- Create best practice procedures for accounting activities and drive process improvements
- Responsible for oversight of all accounting functions, including but not limited to:
- Accounts Payable (review and approve payments to verify accuracy, appropriateness and proper approval)
- Billing and Accounts receivable (ensure charge time is entered, time entered is invoiced and invoices are monitored for collection)
- General ledger
- Develop and maintain management reports (realization and utilization to name a few)
- Prepare and present monthly financial statements including variance analysis and recommendations
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $130,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
