From your PASSION to ours
The Senior Analyst, Sales Finance is responsible for working with the West Area Channels sales teams to execute regional and customer specific trade plans within Lactalis Heritage Dairy. The role will work with field sales to build bottom-up business plans that align with our annual budget and sales objectives and work with the field team to transform customer specific plans or strategic requests into actionable plans for each customer.
From your EXPERTISE to ours
Key responsibilities for this position include:
- Assist the field in creating bottoms up sales plans as part of the planning cycle and monitor the execution and performance of the plan
- Prepare financial analysis for monthly business reviews, monthly trade forecasts
- Manages the trade budget process, partnering with sales
- Oversee the preparation, analysis and recommendations on Trade, Slotting, and Shopper Marketing spends
- Consistently analyze the promotion effectiveness. Look for opportunities to improve trade dollars.
- Provide financial support to the Sales Teams in the areas of ROI analysis, Ad Hoc reporting, and special projects
- Liaise with 3rd party TPO provider to ensure timely resolution of any customer claims that fall into disputed status
- Partner with Sales team to understand profitability by customers and optimize accounts
- Manage reporting of net sales by customer and retailer
- Ensure financial controls by leading monthly trade reconciliation and budget management process.
- Develop reporting enhancements and process improvements
- Support Sales Team P&L activities, including profitability metrics
- Ad-hoc analysis and reporting to support business needs
Requirements

Qualified applicants will contribute the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Communications, or Economics
- 3 years of sales, revenue management or sales finance experience preferred with proven track record of delivering results
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to relate to others, become a trusted partner with Sales
- Disciplined approach toward execution, attention to detail, and ability to navigate within large and complex data environments
- Proactive and results-oriented in a time-sensitive environment
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including reporting and presentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to maintain flexibility in an ever-changing environment
