We are looking for a dependable Warehouse Associate & Delivery Driver that is focused on customer satisfaction while delivering cans and can supplies in a safe and timely manner. Our Warehouse & Delivery Driver is part of our operations team, ensuring order accuracy, loading efficiency, and safely delivering canning supplies to our customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receiving and documenting deliveries.
- Handling all materials with utmost care.
- Moving inventory and materials throughout the warehouse.
- Sorting, organizing, and storing inventory in the proper location.
- Stacking and organizing large bulk items.
- Keeping the warehouse free of debris and up to cleanliness standards.
- Handling and operating necessary tools and accessories in maintaining and managing a warehouse.
- Assisting in maintaining forklifts and warehouse materials.
- Integrating best practices in handling warehouse materials.
- Processing inventory for deliveries/pickups.
- Packaging items and labeling correctly.
- Ensuring orders are packaged & palletized properly.
- Inventory stocking and order picking following all packaging rules. Assisting with LTL and FTL shipping & receiving.
- Ensuring orders are processed and shipped on time.
- Coordinating and tracking all deliveries and shipments. Preparing additional reports and documents as needed.
- Assisting the Logistics Manager with inventory cycle counts and processing.
- Reporting damaged or missing inventory to the Logistics Manager.
- Loading, transporting, delivering, and unloading cans and canning supplies to customers or businesses in a safe and timely manner.
- Removing inventory from trucks for shipping and/or delivery.
- Moving materials from storage to pick-up area or other locations.
- Following designated routes and assigned schedule.
- Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record.
- Reporting all mechanical and/or cosmetic issues with the company truck.
- Maintaining cleanliness of the company truck.
- Communicating professionally with customers, providing the estimated time of arrival and delivery details.
- Providing excellent customer service and support, delivering products with care and pride.
- Working as an active team member to complete team goals.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
· Work-related warehouse and/or manufacturing experience.
· Forklift operating experience.
· DOT Certified (preferred).
· Physically able to stand, sit, move, squat, walk, and climb throughout a shift.
· Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
· Valid driver’s license and clean MVR with dependable means of transportation.
· Ability to work full-time, up to 40 hours per week.
· Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
· Ability to work independently.
· Highly organized with attention to detail.
· Follow health and safety procedures and regulations as instructed by the organization and state laws.
