Summary
The primary function of the Guest Service Agent is to assist thehotel guests, and attend to their needs while utilizing the highest possiblelevel of service; thus, ensuring we are providing a welcoming and accommodatingenvironment. As GSA you will be responsible for the check in and check out ofhotel guests in a courteous, professional and timely manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Knowledgeablein OnQ PMS system- Knowledgeablein the proper check-in/check-out procedures.
- Ensurethat guest needs and requests are met.
- Ensureto follow through on all issues and discrepancies as pertaining to GuestServices.
- Beaware of tone and composure when addressing guests and other Associates.
- Ensurethat guests’ names are used throughout your interaction with them.
- Completedaily shift checklist.
- Makeand confirm reservations.
- Accountablefor maintaining banks and/or cash drawers at the Front Desk.
- Conductdaily bucket checks.
- Completeand print all required daily reports, records and logs as necessary.
- Completecourtesy calls within 20 minutes of guest check in.
- Ensureto sell and identify potential future business upon check in.
- Promptguests to fill out the survey upon check in.
- Depositguests’ valuables in hotel safe deposit box.
- Relocateguests to nearby hotels as necessary.
- Answerand transfer calls in accordance with hotel standards.
- Restockand organize all work areas as necessary.
- Postcharges to guest rooms, make changes, compute bills & collect payments.
- Verifydaily rate and availability.
- Promptguests to comment on their stay on Trip Advisor.
- Attendall mandatory meetings and hotel functions.
- Complywith all company standards and policies, as established in the employeehandbook.
- Otherduties as required.
POSITIONREQUIREMENTS
Musthave a minimum of 1-2 years Hotel Customer Service experience, hotel settingstrongly preferred. Thorough knowledge of customer service. The ideal candidatewill demonstrate effective and professional written and verbal communicationsand have the ability to effectively communicate with guests and team members.

High School Diploma, GED orrelated field
Experience
Minimum 1-2 years customerservice (Hotel industry preferred), or an equivalent combination of educationand experience. OnQ Experience a plus.
