What are the responsibilities and job description for the Head Women's Rugby Coach (Part Time) position at Lake Forest College?
Lake Forest College invites applications for the part-time position of Head Women’s Rugby Coach. The position, which is ideal for someone desiring experience in a collegiate club coaching environment, will offer the chosen candidate the opportunity to administer the College’s historically strong club women’s rugby program. The nature of the position is such that a certain amount of evening and weekend work may be necessary. The chosen candidate will demonstrate the ability to work as a member of the Forester athletic department “team” and support the mission, goals, and procedures of the department and the College.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will develop and implement practice plans 2-3 days per week during both academic semesters (fall and spring) and recruit interested students to grow the program. They will also be responsible for creating an appropriate competition schedule, serve as a mentor to the participants, and uphold all College and Athletic department policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required with college playing and/or coaching experience preferred.
