Activities Assistant Duties:
- Assist in planning and implementation of individual and group activities.
- Provides activities for those with special needs (i.e., depressed terminally ill, bedridden).
- Encourages participation and involvement of all residents.
- Prepares for and participates in resident care conferences.
- Prepares sites and materials for activities.
Activities Assistant Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- CPR and First Aid certified or willingness to become certified.
- Prior experience with those living with mental issues preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
