Must provide valid Food Handler Certification
Job description:
Assesses daily bakery needs with Pastry Chef or Executive Chef. Assist in menu writing, knowledge of pastry prep including but not limited to pastries, cookies, breads, cakes, ice cream, sauces, and composed desserts. Must also know basic plating knowledge, basic cake decoration, and have organizational skills while maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in work areas.

- Prepares baked goods, custards, cookies, bars, bread, pies, cakes, and other bakery items.
- Review bakery needs for special events, and special orders with the Pastry Chef
- Informs management of any problems concerning pastry quality and/or production.
- Assists the Pastry Chef with daily quality control checks.
- Oversees pastry A la Carte station
- Sets-up, maintains, cleans and breaks down pastry station.
- Properly stores all food in accordance with proper sanitation practices

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
