What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sign Shop Technician position at Lakeshore Beverage, LLC?
Lakeshore Beverage of Chicago, IL is seeking a skilled and self-motivated employee who will take pride in creating new signs for our signs. This individual must have great attention to detail and a creative vision to help our marketing and advertising team.
This is a full-time position, and the working days are Monday through Friday.
Typical Duties include:
· Track and prioritize requests for signs and banners;
· Design and produce communication pieces for internal customers;
· Design, layout, print and assemble signs and banners utilizing PC hardware (image scanner, color plotter/printer, laminator, etc.) and software (Corel Draw, Sign Lab, Photoshop, etc.);
· Comply with all legal guidelines, WEA and ABInBev standards;
· Assist other departments as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
· High school diploma/GED required, college degree preferred;
· Must be at least 21 years of age;
· Previous graphic arts experience preferred;
· Proficient in MS Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
· Proficient in sign-making software preferred (Corel Draw, Sign Lab, etc.);
· Working knowledge of sign-making equipment (vinyl cutter, printers, etc.);
· Creativity;
· Highly organized, with ability to manage priorities and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously;
· Ability to work flexible hours;
· Knowledge of local state and federal liquor laws;
· Ability to perform physical requirements of job.
