About This Position
SUMMARY
The position is responsible for production activities throughout the facility ranging from material Handling, to Quality/Inspection. This person will be well verse in multiple jobs and have good general knowledge of stone fabrication.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- All production activities designated by the production supervisor
- Activities will include, but not be limited to: Material Handling, Machine Operation, Polishing, Quality/Inspection and shipping and receiving.
- Overhead crane and hilo activities daily
MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- High School diploma
- 2-4 years of experience in a production machinery environment
- 2 years of stone manufacturing preferred
- Some software and programming knowledge
- Detail oriented
- Proactive and positive attitude
- Good Problem-solving and trouble-shooting skills in the manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and understand production schedules
- Ability to use measuring devices ranging from tape measures to calipers
- Ability to learn and operate multiple machines
- Someone that is flexible to move from job to job
- Good understanding of production flow
- Good math skills
PREFERRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS
MINIMUM PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
- Ability to work while standing for 8 to 12 hour shifts
- Ability to move and carry substantial parts on varied surfaces
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to safely operate overhead crane and hilo
- Ability to follow all safety requirements
- Ability to use measuring tools
