We are seeking a Dentist Recruiter to work directly with the owner and executive team of Lalor Family Dental. The doctor recruiter will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable doctors for multiple offices in the organization.
They will be responsible for full cycle recruitment of our doctors. The ideal candidate will be a sharp, energetic, and dependable individual with a positive attitude and willing to be a team player. Should be assertive, not passive, and someone who will take initiative. Should enjoy taking things to completion and not leaving things unfinished. Must be able to be collaborative and enjoy working with a high functioning team.Key Responsibilities
- Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process.
- Collaborates with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
- Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
- Assists with job posting and advertisement processes for our doctors.
- Screens applications and selects qualified candidates.
- Actively manage candidate experience to ensure highest quality experience through all recruitment stages
- Engage in creative and targeted sourcing strategies to help identify and attract candidates
- Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with candidates and hiring managers alike.
- Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with the team.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
- Attends and participates in college job fairs and other community events.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Serve as a liaison between the doctors and key staff members
- Provide organizational support by managing correspondence, prioritizing tasks, and ensuring deadlines are met.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Extremely strong writing skills. Ability to write letters, presentations, and other written communications.
- Must be able to work within deadlines and execute in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to manage multiple projects at the same time and be flexible to accommodate last minute changes
- Organization is a MUST
- Must have great phone skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Suite
- Must be punctual and have excellent time-management skills
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in performing tasks.
- Must have an outgoing and positive demeanor
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Must have some after-hours availability.
- Must be discrete and confidential (Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion).
Experience in recruitment, marketing, and sales preferred. Looking for quick learners. No dental specific experience required but experience in recruiting preferred.
