The SUE Field Technician will report to the SUE Field Operations Manager and designate, survey, and expose underground utilities:
Duties:
- Operates vacuum truck and related tools and equipment such as a jackhammer, pogo-tamper, concrete saw, compressor blower, vacuum hose, and air lance and hand tools.
- Drives commercial motor vehicles.
- Completes paperwork including record keeping and simple mathematics legibly and accurately.
- Performs daily basic maintenance on vehicles.
- Maintains vehicles, work sites, and equipment clean and in an orderly fashion.
- Performs related duties such as setting up maintenance of traffic as directed, making basic field measurements, and performing simple geophysical prospecting as instructed.
Requirements
- Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions.
- Must have willingness and ability to learn new skills and work as part of a team.
- Must be able to pass a drug test and background check.
- Must be at the office or project site every day at 7:00am.
- The per diem is paid before you leave, and you keep what you do not spend.
- Must possess smart phone-allowance provided.
- Ability to perform physical movements and tractions, commensurate with operating heavy tools and equipment.
- Possible extensive travel by motor vehicle or airplane up to 2 weeks continuously and overtime as needed.
- Ability to lift approximately 50 lbs.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a DOT medical card for CMV operation.

Salary : $16 - $20
