About the Role

We’re looking to create a Deal Desk team in preparation for massive growth this year and next! As Deals Operations Manager you will be joining a small, tight-knit team of finance professionals and help build out a new Deal Desk department. You will own the Deal Desk function, leading the front of our quote-to-cash process, act as a “compliance sheriff” for all relevant business policies, and improve data integrity in our various systems.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage the day-to-day quote and pricing approvals processes, ensuring compliance with published sales and finance approval policies
  • Review and process all incoming Salesforce Quotes and Contracts orders accurately, including but not limited to confirming contact and billing information, discounting, non-standard terms, etc.
  • Review proposals/quotes and provide Sales with deal structure and pricing guidance to optimize profitability, meet strategic corporate goals, and accelerate deal closure
  • Ensure that sales proposals adhere to established corporate strategies and business terms as well as legal and billing
  • Work with members of the Accounting teams to accurately record transactions in Salesforce and other systems
  • Responsible for data integrity in our Billing systems
  • Deliver trainings to all new and existing Sales reps on Deal Desk, Order Booking and overall Quote-to-Cash best practices

You

  • Have Deal Desk, Revenue (ASC 606), Order Management experience in a SaaS environment.
  • Have deep knowledge of Salesforce, CPQ, HelloSign, NetSuite, or similar systems.
  • Have knowledge of SaaS renewals and retention experience.
  • Have proven success partnering with sales teams and other cross functional departments.
  • Have strong oral and written communications skills.
  • Have exceptional analytical, quantitative and strategic problem-solving skills.
  • Can thrive in a fast-paced environment and be able to manage multiple projects with ease.
  • Have the ability to manage high volumes at month and quarter ends and meet tight deadlines.
  • Have the ability to work independently across multiple time zones and coordinate with management.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in the manufacturing, software or cloud services industries
  • Have built a deal desk process from the ground up
  • Startup experience preferred
