Scott's Lumber (Lampert Lumber), a Division of US LBM, Is Seeking a Window and Door Service Technician to join their team in Sioux Falls, SD!

Schedule : Mon-Fri : 7 : 00AM - 5 : 00PM (40-hour workweek off-season)

Wage : Starting : $20 - $22 per hour

How will you spend your day as a window service technician :

• Follow instructions from the field supervisor regarding service of window and door products.
• Work with other technicians to service window and door products as assigned and trained.
• Follow manufacturer directions and warranty requirements when servicing products.
• Maintain all equipment in good order and report any malfunctions to field supervisor.
• Operate all equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Provide quality customer service.
• Cross-train in other areas to expand knowledge and expertise.
• Retain an awareness of the work environment critical to the task at hand to produce error free and damage free results.
• Comply with Company's attendance policy by maintaining regular and predictable attendance.
• Other duties as assigned by field supervisor or location Management.
• Common services performed include adjusting of windows and doors, replacement of glass, replacement of operating and mechanical parts to include operators, locks, and sash.
• Work with contractors and homeowners.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Minimum education required-High school diploma or GED.
• Special skills required-Read and use a measuring tape and other required tools for complete installation.
• Good interpersonal skills, verbal and written skills and the ability to provide and / or follow detailed instructions.
• Physical demands include walking throughout yards, plants, and offices.
• Regularly lifting 25 pounds and frequently lifting up to 50 pounds. Working from tall heights on ladders or in tight spaces.
• Available for overtime as needed.
