We are seeking a skilled machine operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining various types of machinery used in the production process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate production machinery according to established procedures and guidelines.
- Ensure that machines are running at optimal levels, and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery to ensure its longevity and effectiveness.
- Monitor machine output to ensure that products meet quality standards.
- Record and report production data, including output and downtime, to production supervisors.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing setting preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and technical understanding of machinery and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Speak, read, and write in English.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
