Lana Jewelry is opening its first retail store in Winnetka, IL and looking for candidates to build our Retail Team.
The Sales Manager must have expert analytical and organizational skills. Must also be skillful in following tasks:
Expert communication skills, both verbal as well as written

Flexible to changing conditions and possessing high level of integrity
Professional attitude with clients as well as colleagues
Expert knowledge of various business principles such as marketing strategy, financial analysis, and supply chain oversight
Expert understanding of different components of retail store (operations, logistics, marketing, scheduling)
The main responsibilities of a Sales Manager are driving towards the achievement of maximum sales and growth in line with company vision and values and supervising/managing the entire retail department.Along with this, Sales Manager also carries out various other job duties as follows: Oversees all aspects of merchandise and communications with team (ex. presentation, returns, damages)
Continuously analyzes and develops understanding of internal and external customer behaviors, trends, and preferences, adjusting processes and standards accordingly
Identifying and evaluating new marketing opportunities to increase traffic and retail sales
Assisting in retail opening, all logistics and procedures to ensure smooth opening
Hiring and development of retail store team; onboarding/training of team
Oversees inventory compliance to enforce department and stockroom controls
Undertaking research to understand retail store demographic
Financial planning and preparing of budgets
Managing the retail department (sales, operations) and allocating tasks to the staff
Demonstrating project strategies and plans to the higher members of team and company
Work with internal and external partners to develop new techniques, programs needed to implement and run a successful luxury retail environment
Always being proactive of technology industry needs and trends and presenting them to stakeholders
Oversees scheduling of retail store team with sensitivity to business needs
Builds a customer service-driven team, overseeing customer service efforts and escalations
QUALIFICATIONS: 5 years’ experience in luxury sales management
Proven track record achieving business results
Microsoft Office Suites
Experience with BIG COMMERCE or NETSUITE platforms preferred
Ability to work in a highly fast paced environment
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Experience with strategic planning, financial analysis, and project management
Ability to develop and manage cross-functional relationships across a team at all levels in the organization
Excellent problem solving skills
Willingness to take initiative, work autonomously, and tackle complex situation
Must have the ability to work full time schedule based on business needs and inclusive of evenings, weekends, and holidays
Strong attention to detail
