The #Woodshop case assembly Tech performs a full range of duties that requires a thorough understanding of departmental organization, functions, policies, and procedures. This position is responsible for working in a team environment to efficiently assemble cases for touring and sale applications.
Shift: 1st Shift
Salary: $17hr -$21.50

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Table Saw Operation (Bevels, Rabbets & Dadoes)
- Compound Miter Saw, Router Table, and Hand Router Operations
- Follow technical instructions, interpret engineering blueprints, and technical terms.
- Produce components by assembling parts and subassemblies.
- Discern quality of parts and materials used in production.
QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS:
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to perform the essential functions of this job, while exercising judgment and discretion.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative. Must be a quick learner, able to multi-task, and switch gears easily.
- Demonstrated competence to assess priorities and manage a variety of activities in a time-sensitive environment and to meet deadlines with attention to detail, accuracy and quality.
- Demonstrated ability to work as an effective team member in fast-paced environment.
- Follow OSHA and ISO standards.
- Must be able to lift up-to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
EXPERIENCE:
- 3 or more years' experience in cabinet or metal shop production
- Familiarity with both imperial and metric measurement units
- Experience with reading and building from assembly prints
- Experience with common wood shop tools and equipment
