REV RTC Mobile Service Technicians responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
  • Independently perform service and maintenance tasks at customer’s locations around the State of Florida with little or no direct supervision as directed by the Service Manager.


BASIC REQUIREMENTS & RESPONSIBILITIES
1) Posses required EVT certifications to repair fire apparatus.
2) Always project a courteous, helpful demeanor in dealing with internal & external customers.

5) Manage your time to provide maximum efficiencies and company profitability.
8) Always keep in mind that in REV RTC customers perceive you as the “company”.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage and review all your billing claims to eliminate rejected claims from E-One, Horton and REV companies.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through expedient and thorough repairs
  • Maintain all required certifications to perform mechanical and service tasks
  • Care for and maintain your service vehicle to maintain appearance standards
  • Maintain your parts inventory and account for all parts and equipment in your possession
  • Be prepared to respond to customer emergencies and truck-down situations on weekends, after business hours and on weekends.
  • Survey customers to determine methods of improving Hall-Mark service capability and submit to supervisor on a weekly basis
  • Work closely with Parts Department to track, maintain and manage service department parts inventories. Call on customers to solve problems and determine fit for Rev products
  • Manage and update ACTIVE SERVICE PROJECTS LIST on a daily basis
  • Ensure the Service Team ALWAYS projects a professional, courteous and respectful image to our customers, vendors, suppliers and business partners. This includes personal appearance, oral communication skills, service vehicle appearance and service shop cleanliness.
  • Routinely call back customers to follow-up on work performed by yourself.
Requirements (education, experience, travel, physical, work environment)


Qualifications:
  • Valid Florida CDL driver’s license
  • High School Diploma, AS or BS in Business Management preferred
  • Must have experience in the fire apparatus industry. Parts, service and sales experience preferred
  • Must possess computer skills to include Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Power Point & Outlook), and business operating systems as related to Service Department management
  • Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills with ability to function proficiently in a customer oriented environment
  • Must maintain a positive attitude and ability to interact with customers to solve problems and influence company financial performance and financial goals.
  • Must possess Excellent problem solving and multi-tasking skills

  • Able to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
