Duration: 04 Months
Description:
Assist processing tomato team to plan, monitor and execute breeding tasks.
Work Monday-Friday; 8-hour shift (7-3:30). Earlier start, OT and Saturdays on occasions.
Entry to mid-level role.
Minimum education:
high school. Associate or bachelor’s science-related degree preferred. Previous work with plants preferred.
Job includes exposure to allergens, work in hot, cold, wet, humid, and dusty conditions, wearing PPE and following HSE protocols.
Competencies preferred: experience with digital data collection; organized data management; competent in Microsoft Office; excellent English communication; innovative; analytical; accurate; good collaborator; works effectively alone or in a group; adaptable to quickly changing tasks. Valid California Driver’s license required, infrequent driving during shift. Physical requirement: sit/stand for extended time; kneel/bend/pull/push frequently; lift/carry 50lbs infrequently. Must pass pre-employment MVR Check, background, and drug screening.
