Contract Drivers Wanted: 15 Passenger Vans
Vehicle rental company seeks contract drivers to move 15-passenger vans between sites throughout New England.
JOB FUNCTIONS
- Move vehicles between sites in New England: Allston, Southborough, Andover, Rockland, Warwick, Porland, and Manchester
- Pick up/drop off vehicles at local repair shops
- Inspect and photograph vehicles at drop-off sites
- Drive vehicles for gas fill-ups and oil changes
- Periodic interior vacuuming of vans returned to remote locations
- Complete tasks according to daily itinerary but self-directed as an independent contractor
- Primary job is moving empty vehicles, but qualified candidates may be matched to driver jobs for customers who request a driver with their vehicle rental.
PAY & HOURS
- $21/hour
- Jobs contracted on day-by-day basis
- 1099 Contract work, by day
- Hours are flexible, but we often start at 7:30 AM in Allston, MA or Derry, NH
- Great second job for workers with inconsistent or variable schedules
REQUIREMENTS
- Valid Driver's License
- Background check
- Clean driving record
- Reference check
- Can work independently from written itinerary
- Comfortable with GPS navigation, smartphone app for daily tasks
- Necessary Skills: attention to detail, responsive communication
- English speaker required; bilingual Spanish a plus
- No smoking in any vehicle
