Our diversified team of tradesmen and engineers allows us to perform a wide range of projects such as new building construction, heavy civil projects, land development, commercial renovations, pre-engineered metal buildings, concrete, and utility installations.
The Surveyor/Layout position would be responsible for creating CAD files and site models that can be utilized for construction layout and estimating purposes. This position would also be responsible for traveling amongst field crews and performing layout in the field using GPS technology and total station equipment. A candidate applying for this position shall have a passion for the construction industry and the ability to think critically and be self-driven.
Responsibilities:
- Create models for field layout and machine control using CAD & Trimble Business Center
- Perform construction layout using GPS and Total Station
- Assist estimators with creation of models and material takeoffs.
- Management of GPS technology and other layout equipment
- Review daily project reports.
- Cooperate and communicate effectively with Project Managers and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support.
- Represent Landcore to clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and other team members in a professional manner.
- Follow all company safety guidelines at all times.
- Travel between projects and office
Skills:
- Experience with CAD or Trimble Business Center
- Advanced MS Office skills
- Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices, and performance standards
- Ability to work with multiple discipline projects.
- Project management and supervision skills
- Decision making ability and leadership skills.
- Time management and organization skills
Education/Experience:

- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Land Surveying, or Construction Management

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
