About the Role:
We are hiring a Task Force Manager to join us at Landing! In this role, you will join our Field Operations team and be responsible for the member experience and overall success in our various markets in the West Region. Success in this role looks like ownership, collaboration, and flexibility. You will take over markets for one to three weeks at a time, acting as the sole owner of operations in the market while on assignment.
About the Team:
Our Field Operations team owns the Member experience and Property needs while working closely with our host, installation, and property success teams. Working together, our goal is to provide an exceptional experience for our members in the. Task Force Managers (TFM’s) report to Hub Managers and are imperative to Landing’s success.
What You’ll Do:
- Travel 80% of the time
- Monitor and resolve member support tickets through all member communication channels
- Act as liaison with property management teams to quickly resolve maintenance requests, address member concerns, and execute new leases
- Take over markets following a leave of absence from the Area General Manager, assuming ownership and maintaining relationships of key accounts within a portfolio of properties for the duration of their leave
- Serve as auxiliary trainer when not actively on assignment
- Provide feedback to members of Field Operations leadership regarding ongoing operations in the markets you are assigned to
- Evaluate property and home condition, ensuring inventory meets Landing standards for every move-in in the market you are covering during the assignment
- Oversee and report on market metrics, such as cleaning scores, to the Hub Manager
- Coordinate with the AGM and Hub Manager for the market to which you are assigned to ensure a smooth handoff process
- Simultaneously complete multiple daily tasks and build processes for the future
- Evaluate market performance against key performance indicators including Net Promoter Score, Customer Satisfaction Survey, Cleaning Quality, and Market Growth
What You Need:
- This is a remote role, but requires that the employee lives in Arizona (preferably Phoenix)
- 2 years of hospitality experience
- Bias for Action: When you are presented with a difficult or challenging situation, you tend to take action rather than a “wait-and-see” approach
- Interpersonal Skills: You have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop a high degree of personal credibility at all levels of the organization.

- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvement
- Ability to handle unexpected and surprising challenges with poise (travel challenges, operational difficulties, emergency maintenance calls, etc)

- Ability to earn trust of leadership, work independently, and drive results with minimal supervision
- Hands on mentality to jump in and get things done when it counts
