Landmark Credit Union is seeking a Supervisor, Consumer Loan Coordination, who will reports to the Manager, Consumer Loan Underwriting. Supervises a team of Consumer Loan Coordinators that engage with members who have submitted loan applications through LCU online/digital channels. Gather, prepare, and process all necessary documentation for online consumer loans. Responsible for the hiring, training and performance management of Consumer Loan Coordinator Team.


  • Supervises and leads the Consumer Loan Coordinator team including hiring, training, performance management and coaching and development.
  • Works with the Manager, Consumer Loan Underwriting to set goals and objectives in the areas of consumer loan coordination and support.
  • Partners with Consumer Loan Processing, Consumer Loan Underwriting, Branch and MSC to identify opportunities to streamline process flow across departments to achieve optimum end-to-end results of loan processing, while driving a swift, efficient, and error-free member experience.
  • Monitors daily/weekly/monthly reports to ensure no applications reach more than 30 days before decisioning.
  • Tracks and reports out progress to management.
  • Manages the relationship between Personal Financial Officers, Consumer Loan Processing, and Consumer Loan Underwriting.
  • Leads the coordination of the change management process involving other internal functions and stakeholders.
  • Leads any enhancement processes identified by documenting requirements, ensuring that inputs and outputs deliver the expected results.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Required Skills

Required Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent and minimum 3 years of call center, customer service, or financial experience. A combination of education and experience will also be considered.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of consumer loan management.
  • Proven ability to independently organize work, balance multiple priorities and manage a variety of projects in a high-volume, dynamic work environment with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to use independent judgment and discretion in various situations while maintaining a high degree of confidentiality.
  • Must have or be able to attain National Mortgage Licensing System registration (NMLS#).
  • Successful ability to coach and motivate team members, cultivate associate strengths, construct development plans, identify and create career paths, execute succession planning strategies, and drive ongoing performance improvement across departments.
  • Shows initiative and demonstrated aptitude taking ownership of issues, from identification through execution of the successful delivery of win-win results.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, decision making skills, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to use independent judgment and discretion in various situations while maintaining a high degree of confidentiality.
