What are the responsibilities and job description for the QA/ QC Locating position at Landmark EPC?
Summary:
The QA/QC will review all locates coming from the Field Technicians and ensure the accuracy of all locates. The QA/QC personnel will immediately report to the Locating Manager or Superintendent of any errors noticed.
Job Duties:
· Use a laptop computer or other devices to review all locates for any problems and report any potential problems.
· Use laptop computer or other devices to receive, document, and locates or other notices, both during regular hours and after hours.
· Use assigned communication equipment to effectively communicate with Field Technicians, Superintendents, or others as need be.
· Provide accurate documentation related to all locates completed.
· Maintain a neat, clean, professional appearance.
· Adhere to all quality control measures.
· Assist other locators in project completion as necessary to meet customer expectations.
· Assist in training other staff when required.
· Perform all other duties as assigned by their supervisor.
Requirements:
· Candidate must have knowledge of computer systems and able to understand and trouble shoot technical issues.
· Candidate must be strong in organizational skills.
· Willing to be in an office setting for 8 to 10 hours a day watching and making sure mapping crews are getting daily production.
· Must be strong at communication and able to work with management and supervisors with any issues.
· Attention to details is a must.
Training:
Training will be provided as this is an entry level position. Locating and underground utility experience is a plus but is not necessary.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
