What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Engineer position at Landmark Properties, Inc?
Field Engineers assist the Superintendent in in the daily execution of project delivery. This position is embedded on the project site to ensure schedule and quality standards are met. Field Engineers will engage daily with Trade Partners to support compliance for a safe and productive project environment.

Duties/Responsibilities: The duties listed below are an outline of the Field Engineer’s responsibilities and should not be considered an all-inclusive list. As the needs of the organization change, these duties may be modified as needed.
- Assist in development, management, and forecasting of labor, equipment and material within the approved budgets and coordinating with the project management team to verify extra cost work approval.
- Coordinate, track, and schedule procurement orders of materials, equipment, and labor by managing site logistics for timely delivery.
- Assist Superintendent and/or Lead Superintendent with managing an up-to-date daily log documenting the progress of the job as well as noting any problem areas that affect the timely completion of the planned activities including, but not limited to:
- Drone and/or video capture.
- Weekly erosion control reports.
- Daily Log Compliance.
- Subcontractor reports such as Daily Construction Report, Fit for Duty, Rigging forms, and Job Hazard Analysis (JHA).
- Punch List for Landmark Construction Punch walks.
- Incident reports.
- Safety inspections for Job Safety Analysis (JSA) verifications.
- Conduct daily safety inspections and investigations.
- Attend meetings as required.
Education & Experience
This is an entry-level position with rapid growth potential.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Building Science, Architecture, Business Administration or relevant major preferred. Internship experience is a plus.
- Strong computer skills and general knowledge of Office 365 are required; Procore PM Software and Blue Beam knowledge is a plus.

Work Environment

- Travel: Field Engineers are embedded on the project site and in temporary construction trailers/offices close to the site. Periods of overnight travel may be required.
