Job Title: Landscape Operations Manager

· The Landscape Operations Manager leads LSI’s operations team to execute landscape maintenance using self-performing crews along with third-party subcontractors in providing outstanding landscape maintenance service to large institutional properties located in Franklin, TN.

Requirements:

· 3-5 years of landscape maintenance or similar experience, including at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or leadership position

· Must have experience operating commercial landscaping equipment and driving landscape truck equipment (e.g. dovetails)

· Possess excellent safety record

· Must have valid driver’s license and clean driving record

· Must be 18 years of age or older

· Must be able to pass a drug screen & background check

· Physical Requirements- Must be able to stand, walk, crawl, stoop, kneel, crouch, use hands, and talk or hear. Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.

What you’ll do:

· Lead all landscape maintenance service activities of self-performing crews – ensuring that all crew members have the required safety materials, have the training and tools needed to complete the job and are operating safely at all times.

· Schedule all work on a weekly and daily basis; reviewing and managing time sheets.

· Hire, train and retain crew members and supervisory team

· Inspect properties using required inspection reports at the required cadence

· Hire landscape maintenance subcontractors as necessary to perform work above and beyond what LSI self-performing crews execute; monitor for quality.

· Work closely with ABM personnel regarding routine service and special needs

· Ensure completion of pre-trip inspection reports weekly before dispatch at the beginning of the week.

· Coordinate with LSI Account Manager and Client Operations Leader as needed.

· Use landscaping tools and operating heavy equipment as needed.

· Safely driving crews to and from jobs, adhering to Company’s safety policy and ensuring that the public will be safe while in contact with crews.

· Ongoing training and safety of employees.

· Making sure equipment is properly maintained.

· Ensuring quality performance of all work.

Skills we’re seeking:

· Leadership and organizational skills

· Management/supervisory experience is preferred

· Commercial landscape maintenance experience

· Strong communication skills

· Bilingual English/Spanish a plus

· Strong work ethic and attention to detail

· Excellent attendance record

Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
