The Registered Sales Assistant enhances the client experience by providing exceptional client service, supporting department functions as needed, assisting in safeguarding client assets, and serving as administrative, sales and operational support to Investment Adviser Representatives. The Assistant builds positive relationships with peers, business partners, and colleagues while working effectively with others to accomplish organizational goals.
Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities:
Provide sales and service support (i.e., create, review and distribute various client reports and presentations or assist with client events); may be for current clients or prospects.
Research and respond to client inquiries and/or problems of clients, including account change requests; escalate issues as appropriate.
Assist with phone calls to prospects and clients, schedule all client-related appointments, and coordinate client mailings/invitations.
Place equity, mutual fund and fixed income trades for brokerage clients, process money market movements or account maintenance at custodian system.
Research, follow-up, and resolve client inquiries and problems through effective interaction with clients, account custodians, professional consultants, and other staff in a timely and professional manner.
Perform duties & responsibilities specific to department functions & activities or as assigned by supervisor.
Prepare and ensure new business paperwork processes that may include preparing forms, obtaining appropriate signatures, preparing documentation and facilitating rollovers.
Review client financial statements, documents and other data.
Act as liaison between branch services and investment services team.
Coordinate marketing activities such as client appreciate events, educational seminars, and client outreach via marketing software.
Minimum 3 years previous experience as an Investment Admin, or similar experience in a client facing support role with an investment/wealth management company
Series 7 required or ability to obtain in 120 days
Series 63, 65 or 66 as required by state or ability to obtain in 120 days.
Virginia Life, Health, and Annuities license or ability to obtain in 120 days.
