Responsibilities:
- Keep the peace and maintain order by enforcing laws and ordinances.
- Manage emergency situations, including crowd control, fires, natural disasters, etc.
- Perform general police work, such as stopping vehicles and responding to emergency calls.
- Perform patrols and other routine duties to provide general security.
- Supervise, train, and evaluate personnel so that they can effectively perform their jobs.
- Investigate incidents or complaints in order to determine whether there is a crime or other violation of the law.
- Direct traffic at accidents, construction zones, or special events.
- Drive police vehicles in order to respond to emergency situations quickly.
- Use computers to access information from databases or other sources in order to solve crimes.
- MUST BE ACT 120 CERTIFIED
- All applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
