Join our team! Laredo Medical Center is looking for a nurse intern. LMC's 3C Med Surg Unit provides 38 private patient rooms for specialized care for treating complex medical and surgical patients. Each Nurse Intern reports directly to the unit's Director, while also having on-shift leadership enhanced by LMC's Charge RNs and/or Clinical Coordinators.

Position's Purpose and Essential Functions:
Successful completion of basic technical nursing skills and the first semester of the nursing program. The Nurse Intern is allowed to perform all duties of a nursing assistant, as well as other technical skills which have been learned in a nursing education program and for which competency has been previously demonstrated in the nursing program.
Education
Required: HS Diploma or equivalent; Current enrollment in registered nursing program.
