What are the responsibilities and job description for the Diabetes Program Assistant position at Las Vegas Paiute Tribe?

Job Description

This position organizationally falls under the special diabetes program for Indians also known as SDPI. The

Diabetes Program Assistant will assist the Diabetes Program Coordinator as well as the Registered Dietician

Nutritionist by completing various functions related to the SDPI program. Essential functions are case management,

program activities, data entry, healthy cooking demos and other duties as assigned. A potential candidate should

have great energy, be very motivating, possess creativity as we will be doing certain activities with patients.

Working hours are Monday – Friday from 8am to 5pm, or as needed to effectively manage the SDPI program. The

sole purpose of this position is to assist and provide backup support for the Diabetes Coordinator by maintain

accurate and sufficient data through EHR and other data programs.
