What are the responsibilities and job description for the Law Firm Investigator position at Law Firm?
INVESTIGATOR FOR LAW FIRM COVERING ORANGE, ULSTER, PUTNAM & DUTCHESS COUNTIES.
We are a large law firm based in Orange County, NY seeking to hire a full time "Investigator." Our preference is to hire former police officers.
Responsibilities will include:
* Visit clients (homes, hospitals, etc.) for initial case intakes
* Obtain police reports
* Take photos and measurements at accident sites
* File papers with courts
* Transport clients to medical appointments
* Serve subpoenas
To be considered, candidates must have a valid drivers license and be bi-lingual (Spanish). Being a notary is a plus. It is important that candidates are very comfortable using computers. Retired law enforcement officers are encouraged to apply.
