The Office of the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), Customer Experience Center (CEC), Customer Services Directorate (CS) is seeking contractor support services to fulfill the role of Administrative Specialist in the Federal Agency Liaison Center, U.S. House of Representatives (House). This position key responsibilities include supporting and maintaining administrative workflow; maintaining calendars and schedules for common spaces; managing incoming calls and aid customers; and coordinating and supporting day-to-day office activities/operations as required.
Responsibilities:
- Provide consistent front desk coverage.
- Cultivate a positive working environment within the Customer Experience Center’s main storefront location.
- Work alongside the First Call team and Customer Experience Center staff by helping to triage customers.
- Provide seamless customer experiences to Members of Congress, Committees, Leadership and Congressional staff.
- Establish and maintain administrative processes and provide administrative support.
- Analyze and troubleshoot problems and recommend appropriate solutions/changes.
- Establish effective working relationships with senior staff and other high-ranking officials.
- Manage sensitive and confidential matters with tact, as well as the ability to exercise judgment and discretion.
- All employees within the Chief Administrative Office are expected to demonstrate the following general competencies: accountability, adaptability, collaboration, communication, customer orientation, knowledge of relevant policies, procedures, and processes, priority management, and problem resolution.
- Associate’s degree or equivalent certification in a related field
- Experience providing senior level support.
- Experience managing and organizing information.
- Experience in scheduling and coordination, as well as showcasing excellent attention to detail.
- Experience taking initiative.
- Excellent written and verbal communications
- Excellent skillset in time management and task prioritization.
- Bachelor’s degree
