Lawn Care Technician

Most of the work performed under these contracts falls under the same skills and responsibilities that one would find in the Horticare Industry, just on a much bigger scale. Job Opportunity(s):

Lawn Works is currently seeking employee(s) for a lawncare technician. This will be a fulltime position during the growing season for a large property located just outside of North Pole, AK.

Job Duties will include but not limited too:

-Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

-Stand and walk for long periods of time

-Ability to run or learn how to run a zero turn mower

-Ability to walk for long periods of time with a weed eater

-Ability to bend over and pick trash

-1-2 years of commercial or residential mowing and landscaping experience is preferred, but not required for individuals who are willing to learn and have an eye for attention to detail.

-Must be able to communicate efficiently in English

-Hard worker with a respectable attitude towards job duties, co-workers, and all supervisors.

-Team player oriented to perform tasks as a group or be self-motivated to complete certain duties solely assigned to you to perform on your own

-Be Prompt and On time

-Have reliable transportation

-Have a valid Drivers License

-Be able to pass a background check

Job Description:

We are currently seeking workers who can run zero turn mowers, and tractors with bush hogs and brush cutters. Workers will also need to be able to run and operate chain saw, blowers, and weed eaters. Some other job duties are pulling weeds from flower beds, exterior watering of flower beds and lawn watering, and litter/trash/debris pickup and cleanup. Current normal work hours to be expected from Monday through Friday from 730-430. However, Workers Must be available to work on weekdays or weekends outside of the normal work hours in case of special or emergency situations. This should not be an expected monthly occurrence but is a possibility which we will usually have 1-2 days advanced notice for. The place of performance is a highly regarded property. As such, professional demeanor and respect to others at all times is an Absolute Must! Workers will perform work during normal hours as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
