What are the responsibilities and job description for the Elementary Teacher position at Lawrence County?
JOB DESCRIPTION: To create a class environment favorable to learning and personal growth; to establish effective rapport with pupils; to motivate pupils to develop skills, attitudes and knowledge in accordance with each pupil's ability; and to establish good relationships with parents and other staff members (Job Description 10:03).
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree. Must have certification and be Highly Qualified to teach Elementary in schools of Alabama.
SALARY: Salary Schedule adopted by the Lawrence County Board of Education for the effective date of employment.
CONTRACT LENGTH: 9-month
