What are the responsibilities and job description for the Data Scientist position at Lawrence Harvey?
We have been engaged by an exciting Healthcare NLP startup to provide a Data Scientist, fully remote in either Texas, Tennessee, Florida, or Rhode Island.
The Startup was founded by someone who has previously founded and sold another Healthcare Data Science company, and now he is looking to repeat this process!
The firm has investment, clients, and is looking to continue to grow by adding another Healthcare Data Scientist to their business.
You will get equity, and the team is committed to continue to technically educate anyone that steps into this role. This is a genuine opportunity to join an amazing company's growth journey, which should hopefully end in a large financial exit for you.
What do we need?
- A quantitative background, someone who understands the underlying logic underpinning the data science
- Demonstrated experience of having worked as a Data Science for a firm in the STEM sector
- Motivation to join an exciting, growing startup looking to make a big mark in the HLS industry
- Experience working with NLP, or at the very least, desire to develop your skillset in this area
- Minimum of a Bachelors degree in a suitable subject (Mathematics, Statistics, Bioinformatics, Engineering, Computer Science)
We can consider a range of experience for this role, from a pure Data Scientist through to a more experienced Manager, hence the salary range.
