What are the responsibilities and job description for the 2022 Investment Banking Analyst (Lazard Middle Market - Charlotte) position at Lazard Ltd.?
Lazard Middle Market has an immediate opening for an Investment Banking Analyst with our Industrials team in the Charlotte office. The Investment Banking Analyst serves as a key member of the deal team, typically working with a Managing Director, a middle level investment banker and an Associate. The analyst will be given significant responsibility and will receive client exposure, deal experience, and an understanding of transaction structures. In most M&A assignments, the analyst assists in the following:
- Preparation of new business presentations
- Company and industry research
- Financial analysis and modeling
- Participation in live transaction activity
- Direct interaction with clients
Qualified candidates will possess a combination of the following attributes:
- Outstanding undergraduate academic performance (3.5 GPA or better on a 4.0 scale)
- Graduation date no later than between December 2020 and December 2021 preferred
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong analytical ability
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work a demanding schedule
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
